Titus Andronicus, one of Shakespeare’s bloodiest plays, is action-packed. Titus, a Roman general, returns home after ten years of fighting a war. He has captured the Queen of the Goths and her three sons. In accordance with Roman rituals, he sacrifices her oldest son, earning her hatred. A war of revenge ensues between Titus and the queen and ends in tragedy.
