In a world thriving on uniformity, being different is more like a daily on-stage performance of bravery. Standing out is never popular. We're taught to spend endless hours trying to fit in with the crowd. All we ever hear is that it is better to fit in rather than stand out, so we desperately look and yearn for ways to fit in for acceptance. In many instances, when trying to fit in, the cost of our peace has been too great simply because we are different. Unfortunately, being misunderstood is a common occurrence for some. The environment never feels quite right. You're always cold when everyone else seems to enjoy the damp, cool weather. People look different from you. They act different from you too. They laugh at you a lot because your thought process is always different. The constant laughter often silences you. The crowd always seems to be going right, and you always want to go left. Going right is the popular road, and going left is quite lonely. Maybe always being and doing the same does not feel right to you on purpose. Perhaps you were not designed to be the same and to fit in with the crowd. What if your life began to change the moment you recognized that you were deliberately different on purpose?
