From Raftee to Captain; De Balsera a CapitA!n

This is the story of a Cuban immigrant, a raftee, who emigrated to the U.S. with her parents on a homemade boat in March of 1994. The spiritual values held by her family-mainly their faith in God-helped her through not only the most difficult, extreme situation of her escape, but throughout her entire life. As with most things in this life, she only noticed this when looking retrospectively. This is her testimony that miracles happen when we believe, trust, and surrender to His will. Esta es la historia de una inmigrante cubana, una balsera que emigró a Estados Unidos con sus padres en un barco casero en marzo de 1994. Los valores espirituales de su familia, principalmente su fe en Dios, la ayudaron no solo en la situación más extrema y difícil de su huída, sino también a lo largo de toda su vida. Como en la mayoría de las cosas en esta vida, solo se dio cuenta de esto cuando miró retrospectivamente. Este es su testimonio de que los milagros existen cuando creemos, confiamos y nos rendimos a Su voluntad.
