Harmony

Based on one of the 24 key terms put forth at the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to outline the course of action China has to undertake to strengthen its core socialist values for the future and its long-term ideological pursuits, Harmony strives to closely link the term to the spirit of the 18th National Congress and give an in-depth interpretation of it. Achieving harmony is a keystone of Chinese traditional philosophies and important arguments of Marxist philosophy. It is vital that China’s leadership and its populace share these same ideas in order to realize the dream of building a harmonious, just, and moderately prosperous society while creating a new socialism with uniquely Chinese traits. By also drawing from Chinese historical and philosophical texts like those from Confucianism and Taoism, Harmony tries to take the lead in ideological awareness and gives impetus to a collective willpower, so as to provide a strong theoretical support for the construction of a successful core socialist value system.
