Preparing Results Frameworks and Monitoring Results

The revised country partnership strategy results framework of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) incorporates key principles of the Paris Declaration---ownership, alignment, harmonization, managing for results, and mutual accountability---by linking ADB operations and resource allocation with the development outcomes and targets of partner governments. The formats of earlier results frameworks were simplified to reflect this change and to clearly link the agenda of ADB's Strategy 2020 with countries' development goals and objectives. This publication explains the processes and techniques for preparing and updating country and sector results frameworks and monitoring results using revised templates, as a part of the streamlined country partnership strategy cycle.
