Dark Angel is the sixth novel in the Andres Knutas series. The Dead of Summer, the fifth novel in the series, is published as a trade paperback in October 2013. The eBook edition of The Dead of Summer has already sold more than 10,000 copies.
In Dark Angel, Police Detective Anders Knutas will have to solve a crime, where relationships play a key role. A teen is brutally beaten, and Knutas faces tough dilemmas, both as a police officer and as a dad.
The series has been adapted into a German TV drama—over five million viewers per show. The translation rights have sold to nearly twenty countries.
Jungstedt previously worked as a reporter on Swedish NPR and television. She also had a brief career as a fashion model in New York City.
