Intraoperative OCT (iOCT) is a new technology aimed at assisting ophthalmologic surgeons by allowing them to carry out real-time optical coherence tomography sections that are viewed through the surgical microscope. It is a particularly useful tool in lamellar keratoplasty (DALK, DSAEK, DMEK) and other anterior segment procedures. This is the first practical guide on the use of iOCT in corneal surgery. It is based on videos illustrating the application of this technology in standard and complex cases of lamellar keratoplasty, how it can help solve complications, and other surgical uses.
