Science, Evolution and Religious Persuasion is for readers caught in a dilemma and perplexed by the science versus religion debate. At the heart of the confusion is whether in the normative view God created the world, or in the positive perspective whether a god was even necessary in a natural, seemingly random evolutionary process. The normative and the positive are dialectical ways of knowing and therefore often at odds. Yet, the objective of both is to promote knowledge and understanding, each hoping in the end to find truth. In this regard, one is not superior to the other, only different.
