The Gilded Prospect

Charlie Stucliffe's world is collapsing around him, helpless to alter the momentum of events. When his wife, Karen, discovers the nineteenth century handwritten Alaskan Gold Rush journal of Absalom Sutcliffe, Charlie’s great-great-grandfather, prospects begin to look up for a family in debt due to their seven-year-old daughter’s medical treatments. This journal details a course leading to Absalom’s hidden gold.  Charlie and his best friend, George, embark on a journey toward the Northern Wilderness to locate and retrieve Absalom’s gold, but as they follow their prospect’s same century-old gilded path, what they don’t expect is someone else is seeking the same riches. Along the way, Charlie discovers something even more valuable than gold.
