Notes from the Middle World

Breytenbach is a prolific South African author and artist with a global audience. His work is regularly published in Harper's, and other well-known literary journals and magazines. Like Eduardo Galeano and Arundhati Roy, Breytenbach's writing is elegant and literary, while often dealing with topics of immediate social significance.
