Problems in Strength of Materials is a translation from the Russian and presents problems concerning determining and calculating the strength of materials. This book presents the properties of materials that have to do with strength through problem solving. This book give several examples of tension and compression problems, such as those concerning statically determinate and indertiminate systems, self-weight, and calculation for flexible wires or cables.
