Killer Country

The horse’s hoofs rang loudly on the boards as the wagon rolled onto the bridge. Suddenly there was a loud crack, a shower of hot lead, then a grinding, splintering crash. In a matter of seconds the stream became a bloody turmoil of screaming horses and men! Again the vicious killers struck without warning and disappeared without a trace.
