The Star-Spangled Banner: Song and Flag of Independence ebook

Students will act out the story of the events that led up to the writing of the Star-Spangled Banner! Readers will learn about Mary Pickersgill, who made a flag for the War of 1812 that inspired the famous poem. This Reader's Theater script features roles written to match multiple reading levels. Teachers can assign specific roles to their readers based on each student's current reading level, allowing all students to get involved in the same activity and feel successful!
