This book has been developed from the authors’ experience gained through years of teaching and research at the University of Science and Technology of China, Florida International University, USA, and the Technische Universität, Braunschweig, Germany. In this book we share the experience and make it easier for readers to choose the appropriate model for their needs.
There is also significant potential to develop a Chinese version of the book within a 1 to 2 year time frame. The authors believe there is a significant need and market there.
Researchers, graduate students, and practitioners who are interested in and/or already working on multiphase fluids using Lattice Boltzmann models. So, principally academic, but with a potentially strong contingent of practicing engineers especially from petroleum, mechanical, chemical, nuclear, and geological engineering.
