What Executives Need to Know About Project Management

The proposed will be the second in a new series of books co-branded with the International Institute for Learning (IIL).  The IIl has been a successful customer of our over the years based on their use of the Kerzner Approach to project management and their use of these franchise books for a large number of their courses.  IIL and Wiley plan to publish a series of books that target various levels or segments of the project management market while acting as a supplement for IIL course offerings.  Each title will be published in jacketed cloth format.  They must be lower priced because they will not only act as a supplement (along with other texts - such as the Kerzner textbook) but should also be promotional vehicles to draw new customers to Wiley and the IIL.  It is expected that the cutting-edge content backed by IILs name and reputation in the global project management marketplace will allow us to sell these books into our normal channels.  Both IIL and Wiley will promote the series and the courses to drive customers to our existing list of courses and books. This second series book from the best selling authors Harold Kerzner and Frank Saladis, will focus on teaching the basic principles of project management to top managers who need an understanding of the benefits and how it fits into the overall business strategy, but not necessarily the step-by-step processes.  The book will contain the entire IIL course - both text and accompanying powerpoint slides in easy and accessible language and format.
