Longarm tries a little moonlighting… As a personal favor, U.S. Deputy Marshal Custis Long arrives in Good Hope, Arizona, to help his boss’s old friend, a former Texas Ranger named Don Carter. But Carter is a proud, obstinate son of a gun, not likely to accept help—though he’s happy to give it, especially to the down-and-out.
