As noted in the first chapter, this book is written to help students of law consider the economic analysis of low, commonly reerred to as law and economics from a Christian perspective. It is certainly not complete. Much more could be said about every topic, and for every topic likely hundreds more could be considered. Thus, the hope is not a comprehensive CHristian critique of law and economics (laudable as that goal would be). Rather, what this book hopes to do is set forth a Christian understanding of law and compare and contrast it with the law and economcs approach on a select number of issues and topics. I hope to do this in an interesting way that ight equip stdents to continue the practice of the application of the Christian worldview to other issues that they encounter in law and policy and indeed in their lives in general. The Bible is authoritative for all things to which it speaks, and it speaks to all things.
